Lancôme Idôle Now Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a rich, warm, and highly contemporary Amber Floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2023 as a boundary-pushing flanker to the legendary clean-rose original Idôle, it is celebrated for being the first fragrance in the line to blend high-tech upcycled ingredients with classical natural perfumery.
It is designed to evoke a modern, energetic aura, trading out the airy pear and sharp jasmine of the original for an intoxicating mix of juicy pear, creamy vanilla, and a powdery, warm floral heart.
The Scent Profile: An Upcycled Floral Revolution
Idôle Now uses a tightly curated, minimalist three-tier note structure that creates an incredibly creamy, comforting dessert-like floral trail:
- Top Note (The Succulent Opening): Rose. It features a modern, clean, upcycled rose accord. By capturing the volatile molecules usually lost during distillation, this rose smells remarkably crisp, dewy, and natural.
- Heart Note (The Powdery Core): Malaysian Orchid. An exotic orchid note brings a highly sophisticated, powdery, clean, and velvety texture to the core of the fragrance.
- Base Note (The Decadent Settlement): Bourbon Vanilla Infusion. This is the backbone of the "Now" flanker. The dry down is dominated by a rich, luxurious, and warm Madagascar vanilla that makes the perfume smell deep, cozy, and slightly gourmand.
